Ingredients

For the Meatloaf:

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend for best flavor)

  • ½ cup Ritz cracker crumbs (or breadcrumbs)

  • 1 small onion, finely diced

  • egg, beaten

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

For the Glaze:

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp yellow mustard


Instructions

1. Prep:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Mix Meatloaf:

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cracker crumbs, onion, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings. Mix gently (don’t overwork).

3. Shape & Bake:

  • Press into a 9×5-inch loaf pan or shape into a freeform loaf on a baking sheet.

  • Bake 45 minutes.

4. Add Glaze & Finish:

  • Whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard. Spread over meatloaf.

  • Bake 15 more minutes until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).

  • Let rest 10 mins before slicing.
