Praline Crunch




Ingredients:

– 2 cups pecan halves (salted preferred)

– 8 cups Crispix cereal

– 1 cup packed brown sugar

– 1 cup corn syrup

– 1 cup butter

– 1 tsp vanilla extract

– 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions:

1. Begin by preheating your oven to a cozy 250ºF.

2. In a large bowl, toss together the Crispix cereal and pecan halves until well mixed.

3. In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Stir occasionally until the mixture comes to a rolling boil. Once boiled, remove it from the heat and mix in the vanilla extract and baking soda.

4. Carefully pour this delicious mixture over the cereal and pecans, stirring until every piece is well-coated.

5. Spread the coated mixture evenly into a 9×13-inch pan. Bake it in the oven for 1 hour, stirring thoroughly every 20 minutes to ensure even cooking.

6. Once baking is complete, transfer the mixture onto wax or parchment paper to cool. Once cooled, break it into delightful pieces for serving.
